Nominations + Housekeeping

Hey there lovelies!

I know there’s usually a blog post here ready for you to read bright and early Monday morning, but unfortunately there won’t be a new post on the blog for a couple weeks. I’m spending the next 2 weeks frolicking around the cities of California and Vegas, and hopefully getting myself into lots of trouble so I have more stories for the blog. Well, not too much trouble lol… but enough.

Either way, since I’m on vacation, that means Choices, Voices, and Sole is officially on vacation as well. But don’t stay away too long, a new post will be up on Monday, September 9 ready for you to dig into it. In the mean time, if you’re behind on any of the posts, feel free to take this time to catch up.

And if you haven’t checked out the Girl Talk podcast in awhile, I suggest you do. The podcast went through a bit of an overhaul this year and is now back and better than ever. You can listen to it on the blog here (Girl Talk page) or by clicking on Itunes (here). I suggest you at least take a listen to Episodes 8 and 9.

Also, if you haven’t noticed, the Black Weblog Awards are currently in their nomination period. So if you love the blog as much as I do, please consider nominating it for one of the categories for the 2013 awards. You can nominate (here). Please note, the nomination period ends September 6.
